Johanna & Gavin were the most gracious and accommodating couple we could have hoped to have worked with, thoroughly charming and at ease with the world.
When the Bride and Groom are so natural in front of the camera there are no shortage of photos to be taken, the hardest thing being to edit them down. But you don't think about that when you're working, you concentrate on shooting it all and sorting things out afterwards.
We began with Jill photographing Johanna at their house, while I pottered about photographing odds and ends - as I do - before taking some family shots.
I did have initial concerns regarding the church, but they were put to rest once inside where it was obvious there would be ample light.
There were no such concerns with Beaufield Mews, having visited there I knew the gardens would provide plenty of opportunities if the weather played its part. It turned out to be a pretty perfect Summer's day, blue skies blazed overhead and the garden looked amazing.
Everyone at Beaufield Mews worked so hard to make it a day to remember, and the food almost looked as good as it tasted - myself and Jill can't wait to shoot a wedding here again.
